  • Employment and Training Support – Works for Us

If you’re looking for work, or you’ve got a job that doesn’t pay very well, you might have some ideas about the sort of help you need, to get back into work or find another role.

    This might be things like:

    • Improving your digital skills and gaining confidence online.
    • Learning new skills that might help you progress in your current role.
    • Practising interview techniques or improving your CV.
    • Building your self-esteem.
    • Getting advice on how your benefits or finances could be affected by starting a job or if work changes.
    • Understanding things like your contract, pay and conditions and other employment rights

For help with things like this and much more, its worth getting in touch with Works for Us , the Training , Skills, and Employability arm of Citizens Advice Milton Keynes.

Until a few years ago, Works for Us and Citizens Advice were two separate charities, but in early 2022, we completed a merger of the two organisations, bringing all of our support under one roof, and integrating our advice , guidance, and training services to support more people in Milton Keynes than ever before.

To view the full range of free, practical courses and other services available , head over to the Works for Us website for more information.
