Support with skills, job related training and understanding your rights at work
If you are looking for work, or you have a job that doesn’t pay very well , you might be thinking about –
- Training or courses that could help you get you back into work, like improving your digital skills and gaining confidence online.
- Learning new skills that might help you progress in your current role.
- Getting advice on how your benefits or finances could be affected by starting a job or if work changes.
- Understanding things like your contract, pay and conditions and other employment rights
Thanks to funding from The National Lottery Community Fund, Milton Keynes Council and MK Community Foundation, we have teamed up with our partners at Works for Us to offer support with all the above and more, through our Integrated Support and Advice Partnership (ISAP).
By coming together, we have made the range of support available to local people much broader and can now offer help to you that is much more joined up. Life can be unpredictable, especially right now, and our staff understand that jobs can quickly become insecure or personal circumstances like your health or relationships can change. You will be able to get help and advice with benefits, housing or debt issues whilst also accessing courses and workshops that may help you to develop your confidence and work-related skills.
Our Guidance Officers and Advisers are ready to support anyone who wants to improve their prospects for finding better paid work and becoming more financially independent and secure.
