Macmillan Cancer Advice Service

If you are a cancer patient who is being treated by Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust or a survivor of a cancer patient who was treated by this Trust, then you can access Citizens Advice by calling the Cancer Information and Support Service at Stoke Mandeville Hospital on 01296 316954.  After your initial phone call, you will be referred to a specialist adviser for either phone or face to face help under the partnership between Citizens Advice and Macmillan

Solicitor Clinics

Following changes made by the government to the Legal Aid system in 2013 ,Milton Keynes Citizens Advice does not offer any services under Legal Aid.

We now work with several local solicitors to offer a limited number of free consultation appointments every month.

Most appointments last for 20 minutes and are free. If you choose to use a solicitor to represent you following the initial appointment, remember to ask them about their fees and charges for ongoing cosultations.

Home Visiting

Dealing with the most vulnerable people in our community we offer home visits to clients who are unable to visits us at our office.  We will help with debt and look at income maximisation.  This involves making sure you are getting all the benefits you are entitled to.  This service is accessed via referrals through a third party or being signposted from our main service.
